The dispute is over a brief submitted to the justices by several Democratic senators. The case involves a New York gun law that was challenged and eventually withdrawn by the city. The court case still is pending and some fear the court could establish a nationwide precedent they may not like.
Already, Harvard professor Laurence Tribe has scolded the senators for threatening the justices.
The senators' brief said the court is not well, and unless it heals itself they may have to resort to stacking the court with more justices who are amenable to the Democrats' ideology.

WHEN, not if, the stupidity of the citizenry elects a DEMOCRAT/Communist to the Presidency, the Supreme Court WILL be changed. At that point, the government will become a non-government. It becomes something that we must “cut the ties that bind us”.

It would be interesting to see if a 6-3 conservative Supreme Court would sit back and allow the Dems to pack 6 more liberals to, overnight, become a 9-6 Leftist court.
I don’t think so. I see two options: Declare whatever law they pass to stack the court unconstitutional, as it is only intended for political reasons, not because of caseload. Second, just don’t swear any of them in, or even let them in the building.
...and don’t get me wrong, the Democrats will DEFINITELY try to stack the Supreme Court the moment they achieve even 50 Democrat Senators. First they’ll immediately kill the legislative filibuster, to get that out of the way, then they’ll vote to pack the court. After that, they’ll add PR and DC as states and take a dozen other steps to assure that Republicans NEVER, EVER, again achieve power. It’s over.
So, for you purists who want to ‘teach a lesson’ to your RINO Senator by sitting out his/her election, keep two things in mind:
1) RINOs are almost always wealthy people, they will be JUST FINE if booted from office. They won’t skip a beat.
2) If the Dems do control all of government, particularly due to some RINOs and/or Trump haters in the GOP losing, then this country is PERMANENTLY LOST. And while you can apologize to your kids for helping engineer your RINO Senator’s defeat to a Democrat, your kids should NEVER FORGIVE YOU for doing such a thing to them - essentially being part of the destruction of the country just as it would have been their turn to enjoy the country they were born into.
Imagine a 25 to 4 conservative majority. Or is that not what the Democrats want?
