A 2021 date has been established for the death-penalty trial of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and four other men charged as the masterminds behind the September 11 attack in New York City.
Colonel W. Shane Cohen of the Air Force announced on Friday that the trial is set for January 11, 2021. The case will take place at Camp Justice at Guantánamo Bay in Cuba.
Cohen set the date so that a military jury could be selected, the New York Times reports.

By that point it will be twenty years since the act was committed. How frickin’ long does it take to impanel a jury??!?
This is a travesty.
The people who were involved in the assassinated of Lincoln, and the people who actually assassinated Garfield and McKinley were all executed mere months after the crime.
He should have been interrogated and executed long ago.
This is one of those things President Trump should De-Classify ASAP!!. My money says Americans will have an Entirely Different Attitude towards 911 if he did.

It’s not.
We don’t actually have a “Justice” system, we have a “Legal” system. We need to get rid of all the touchy-feely stuff and get back to actual American values.
Back in the day,the Military had swift justice by the firing squad or the rope. These pieces of sh*t in Leavenworth need to be put down like the rabid dogs that they are. I would also put that piece of sh*t Bergdahl and that freak Manning in prison preferably with a death date.
