A little mother-son bonding time for Colorado residents Justine Myers and 16-year-old Nate has exploded into a suspension from school and a looming hearing over an anonymous report of a "threat."
The news site AmmoLand.com reported the controversy was triggered by a social-media posting of a video in which the mother gives her son shooting training:
Nate is seen in the video listening to instructions and legally firing a handgun.
A short time later, however, police showed up at their door.
"Nate had posted on his Snapchat that he was going shooting with his mom," the report said.

What else could that mean, if not shooting up the local Whole Foods! The family that slays together, perishes in a hail of bullets together.
Good thing my daughter did not show others the photos of her, at 12 years old, shooting my .22 back about 35 years ago.
If they don’t let him back in to school immediately, sue them.
Sounds vengful. Liberals exacting a punishment for PC sins.
Wow. The left has done a masterful job of brainwashing so many people! How long will it be until squirt guns are banned? I shouldn’t give them any ideas.
Safe 2 snitch. Like no one saw this coming.
Take that gun away until that poor child gets proper hearing protection (unless she has ear plugs under her kitty earmuffs).
I hope he posts when he and his mother are going to the range again so I know when it’s safe to rob his house.
Safety glasses too with both eyes open. But hey, at least it’s a family having some fun together.
She does.
The problem is the idiot who reported this. The left has programmed people to call the police on innocent, non-violent people who are using guns legally, not on violent criminals.
In today’s USA, you are suspended for not doing anything wrong.
Is that an MG42/MG3?
Looked like an M60 at first, still not sure.
Don’t know. Just found the picture cute.
Now I spent most of my time growing up in the city but I did get out to my grandmother's farm on Alabama most every summer and learned how to handle and be comfortable around guns there. Then I spent four years in the military which helped even more.
But most "city slickers" are literally petrified of guns and will gleefully support the government grabbing guns from law abiding citizens because they just do not understand. Nor were they adequately taught in public school about our Bill of Rights.
This is what we are up against. An uneducated and frightened public in our urban spaces.
Your #10: She has it lined up like a pro.
