Has "Trump Derangement Syndrome" literally gone to liberals' heads?
An author who has been a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award received backlash on Twitter after likening President Trump's red “Make America Great Again” hats to the Nazi swastika -- and urging "normal people" (i.e., non-Trump voters) to avoid wearing any type of red hat, saying they'd be “making people scared” by doing so.
The Chicago-based author, Rebecca Makkai, 41, made the remarks in a string of tweets beginning over the weekend and carrying into early this week. She also asked sports fans whose teams wear red hats -- such as the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Nationals -- not to don that specific color cap in public.

Just because a bunch of liberals say the hat is racist doesn’t make it racist. Same goes for the Betsy Ross flag. Who are they to determine what is racist and what’s not.
I’m sure an exception could be made for that cap. After all, absolutely no violence has been associated with what it represents.

True, also the article mentions certain sports teams, not from Chicago wear she lives. The Bulls and Blackhawks have red caps for sale. What a bunch of maroons!!!

I can’t remember where I saw it, but a guy wrote about wearing a red Angels cap. A woman saw it, approached him seething in anger, and demanded to know why he was there, why he’d wear that hat ... he explained he’s a sports fan. What? What sport? After he explained it, she forgave him, was polite, then left.
This liberal bully was trained to hate the mere sight of conservative symbols. Hate the red hat and its wearer. Bully them, threaten them with violence, drive them from public, so we can have the false appearance of uniform shared belief.
It is like Muslims trained to hate the infidels and assault anyone not wearing the uniform, such as women not in hijab.

Social justice is best understood as liberal political dogma invested with religious levels of devotion. It comes from being in power and living in such a bubble that you think liberal = good, good requires being a good liberal, and conservatives are stupid, ignorant or just evil.
