Dhimmicraps once again allowing a member to play the treason card.

Nadler should be tarred, feathered, tied to a (heavy) pole and run out to be dropped into the Potomac River.

Have they bothered to identify a crime? Or do they just plan to “investigate stuff”? Or do they merely want to get together, vote “guilty”, and be done with it?

The seriousness of what the allegation is about is enough to demand impeachment regardless of whether or not the President is actually guilty or not. The bizarro world scenarios in my head means you're guilty and punishment is mandatory to have justice for my made-up head-case pictures.

Not treason. This is abuse of process. It is a natural extension of using "the law" for political purposes, which is what the government did via Comey and a cast of a hundred or so interacting with partners in the press. None of this is criminal, or at least not some "big" crime. It's simple abuse, applied to a big target.

The law can't fix what's broken here. The law was used to render the political process pointless. Bad scene. Not sure what the people will do about it, but odds are the government will surround the wagons and make more promises that are actually lies. We've seen this movie before.

In this rare case Waters is right. The House can define as impeachable anything they wish.

That depends on whether the Chief Justice, presiding over this farce, rules that some frivolous article of impeachment does not rise to the level of “high crimes and misdemeanor”.

A glob of grease in an ill-fitting suit.

The Chief justice, nor any judicial power, has anything to say on impeachment.

He doesn’t get a vote.

In spite of the silly nonsense some are promulgating on the internet.

It’s a 100% political act between the House and Senate.

High Crimes and Misdemeanors was left deliberately vague, and undefined, for this very reason.

If the House votes to impeach, he’s impeached. Period.

This is what old New York reds do, ignore the rules, make up their own, smear and threaten people, and take money under the table. Wonder how much the Mob gave him to leave them alone.
