I have a solar powered water pump for my little hummingbird fountain. Cost $11 and works great.
I also have solar powered blinds. Work great in conjunction with a battery so you can open and close when no sun.
That’s cute. Call us when you run your whole house on solar including your summer AC, your oven, your hairdryer, and all your lighting.
Sounds like a perfect application. Like those solar LED night lights. Low cost/low demand, expendable, doesn’t matter if it works or not. That is a great application for the current state of solar and at price point, the market supports such trinkets.
Yeah, works great for novelty stuff that doesn't matter. My wife has a little solar powered squirrel doll that dances back and forth when the sun shines on it.
It ain't worth spit to power a modern city.
OK then....
