The legality of the policy is still winding it’s way up the court system. This ruling allows the policy to go into effect while it is being litigated.

If President Trump gets five more years, he will replace both.

I would like to see both resign in four years so that Trump and not his replacement will choose their replacements.
No matter what, Trump’s 2016 victory allowed us to delay an immediate disaster on the scale of 1861. I pray that four more years will be enough to restore the rule of law and put that catastrophe off for a generation or more.

The 9th circuit had already blocked the nationwide injunction by said it could stay in place in the 9th circuit. The Dems had appointed 21 to 6 of the justices on the 9th circuit when Trump took office. With two vacancies, It is now 16-13 Dem appointees. Getting close.
