Thanks for sharing. What Pearl Harbor is to the greatest generation, 9/11 is to the Baby Boomer generation. 9/11 is the worst day of my life — even worse than the death of my parents, who at 90+ were supposed to die. I still weep when I see photos and videos of 9/11. For those of us who lived in NYC and suburbia on that horrible day, we all know someone who perished. I remember going to the Metro North train station that evening to aid those coming back from Ground Zero, and seeing the numb faces covered in soot and dust, soaked in sweat, tears, and blood; and I recall the cars at the train station in the following days that no one claimed. I still have flashbacks even though I was safe and comfy fifty miles from ground zero. I can only imagine the pain and suffering of those who perished and their families who suffered. I WILL NEVER FORGET!!!

I still have nightmares of that horrible day. Nightmares of those poor souls who had no choice but to jump to their deaths. That haunts me and it makes my anger and fury of Islam burn white hot with hatred for that pestilence. I worked in a construction local in NYC is the 70’s and 80’s and I've been as high up as 80 stories above Manhattan. Believe me it can be a scary feeling if you don't know what you're doing. In the days following 9/11 when everyone was saying Never Forget! I was attending a small candle light memorial service with about two dozen or so people in the small NJ town I live in. After some nice speeches the service concluded with everyone holding hands and saying the Our Father after which everyone held each others hands a little tighter and said “9/11, Never Forget’’ and without really thinking I said, rather loudly and I'd have to admit a bit tersely “And NEVER FORGIVE!’’. I'm not the type to brag, I try to always to live humbly but for a moment every one was silent. I thought maybe I'd said something offensive. Instead what I got was a round of applause. So then lets always say : "9/11. Never Forget. And Never Forgive.
