And the winner is … Donald Trump.
The Democrats’ third presidential debate was a long-winded, platitude-filled disaster where no single candidate could claim a clear victory. Instead, the seven men and three women took turns displaying why they are all probably unelectable.
Start with Joe Biden’s incoherence. The nominal front-runner, the former vice president had a 40-year reputation for never shutting up. Now he can’t manage to finish a sentence without interrupting himself.
Nearly all his efforts to make a point were swamped by a sudden change of direction mid-sentence, and then another change a few words later as a random thought popped into his head and out his mouth. None of his rivals needed to interrupt him — he did it to himself.
Most of the time I had no idea what he was trying to say, let alone what he actually said. I veered between feeling sorry for him and expecting the AFLAC duck to come out on stage and shake its head in bewilderment.
I have said all along that I don’t believe Biden will be the nominee, and last night left me more certain than ever. He’s not capable of going the distance in the primaries and then taking on Trump.

Democrat Party POTUS candidate debate in Houston presented by ABC was total bust and, most boring to boot...only about 3% of American viewers & voters tuned in. Democrat Party contiunues its own self-destruction at a rapid pace...Schiff & Nadler are certified nutcases..period!!! Go figure!!!

I tend to agree. I don’t thank anyone in the upper echelons of the party thought he had a chance (I certainly didn’t), but knew they had to be good sports and let this thing play out. I’m shocked his family and advisors didn’t prevent him from doing this. It would have been so much better for his legacy for him to quit while he was ahead and not run.
Oh well.
BTW, I don’t think Trump is the winner. I think other democrat candidates are the winners.
Democrat oligarchs are not running because they do not want to lose. Trump is inevitable. If his supporters vote.

Even though he has said no, I think Michael Lavaughn Robinson will become the CommiecRAT nominee.

It’s already been decided. It will be Clinton. It will happen after the convention goes through 10 iterations of the nomination process. Once it has been decided that no one will be the candidate, the DNC will conveniently announce that they have reached out to the reluctant warrior and her Thighness accepted.
I believe this has been in place since the day after Trump won.
I think that’s right.
Luckily, I trust Trump will - again - not let a Skirt get the better of him. There are upsides to being a rough-around-the-edges New Yorker.
