Democratic front-runner Joe Biden struggled to recall the word "escalator" while bashing President Trump during a campaign stop in Miami, Florida.
Speaking at at the historic Ball & Chain nightclub on Sunday afternoon to mark the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, Biden slammed the president's June 2015 comments about Mexican immigrants during his 2016 campaign announcement speech.
"Remember when he came down, uh, down the, uh, down his escalator of Trump Tower?" Biden said after some prompting from the audience. "He announced on the way down, one of the reasons he was running was because of all those Mexican rapists."

The Joe Biden of twenty years ago probably could have run a decent campaign. I think Joe’s campaign will end around the 5th to 7th state primary period, and Warren will run the rest of the way.
I think it will be Warren and for vice president it will be the gay “married” guy who does a lot of holier-than-thou preaching. The theory being that suburban women will swoon over both.
In 2008 the press kept John Edwards in the race to deny Hillary the nomination as she challenged Barack Obama for the nomination.
John Edwards' affair was kept out of the news cycle and Bill and Hillary were called "racists".
I hope Joe pulls off a ‘Super-Delegate’ 11th hour steal of the nomination on the Convention floor, a-la-Hillary, leaving a very bad taste in the mouths of Warren, Sanders, other supporters. Biden will campaign like the Dems’ answer to NO-NAME in ‘08.
I think part of that story was that some folks wanted John Edwards as VP. If that affair had never come along....he’d been ‘clean’ and might even run against Hillary in 2016 in the primary.

Why do so many women want a pet male homo “friend?” Just bizarre.
Swoon they will. I saw some of them at the school bus stop this morning.
Women feel safe around homosexual men. They can be “friends” with them without the fear of the man making a pass at her. Plus, women get a certain thrill discussing things like make-up tips and fashion with men. This is not something they normally get to do. So it’s a novelty.
I think it was Joe Biden of about 20 year ago who had to step aside because he stole Niel Kinnock’s speech, family background, and life story, lock stock and barrel. He is, and has always been, a jackass.
Interestingly, men do not seek friendships with Lesbians in the same way AFAIK.
He wouldn’t be able to see a teleprompter or his notes with his eyes full of blood. Besides, part of his long term disability is his problem with mentation. He could see a familiar word but not recognize it.
The superdelegates don’t get to vote until the 2nd ballot now, unless they changed the rules again.
I wouldn’t count on that - the superdelegates could have swung the nomination to Hillary in 2008.
