Yep. I’ve been having to counter what the public schools have been teaching my kids. It’s all doom and gloom and how bad man is to the earth.
I don’t bother turning on the a/c if it’s 90 outside. We didn’t put a/c in until the 1990s so it’s just a modern convenience.
In the universe of first world problems, this ranks right up there with not being able to find a good untucked shirt.
So? When I was a teen, I was supposed to be afraid of global nuclear annihilation. Even the fears of millenials are lame.
When I was 18 on the perimeter of the bases at Bien Hoa and Long Binh on Jan 31 1968, I had a fear of a whole lotta things that climate had nothing to do with. Younguns nowadays seem afraid of their own shadows.
