Yes, this is a terrific letter. I particularly like the illegal immigrant-sanctuary state part so neatly buried about 3/4ths of the way through.

If Cacafornia has plenty of money to pay for all the needs of illegal criminal invaders and frustrates ICE’s efforts to arrest and deport them, if they can prohibit conservative speakers at universities or entertain absurd anti-conservative policies at universities, then they don’t have a need for more of our money. It’s obvious they are lousy stewards of what they were already given. Bravo, Dr. Carson.
The stinking corpse in the room is the rulings from the federal bench ‘finding homelessness to not be a crime’, declaring that being accosted in the street and told to hand over money is freedom of speech, that no one can be moved from public property (or in the latest rulings, private property not ‘suitably developed’) unless a no barrier shelter is immediately available and ‘suitable’ (which federal courts have found only hotel rooms to meet this standard...).
That using hazmat crews, soil scrapers and other mitigation steps to clean up these sites is ‘theft of private property’ after first 120 days notice to move, then 90 days notice that we really mean it this time, plus 30 days ‘look, we're not kidding’ notice and finally a 3 day move it or it'll be thrown away notice.
The vast majority of the squatters in Northern California outside of the big cities (but including the ones along the delta and Sacramento river) are dumping human waste and drug paraphernalia in the waterways. Any ‘normal’ person who does that faces incredible federal prosecution, whereas squatters can literally dig into dam walls and river levees with not one lick of a peep from the EPA, Army Corp of Engineers, etc.
You face a $1,000 fine bringing a dog on a leash if the walking pathway happens to stray into one of Obama’s many wildlife national monuments; squatters can let their dogs roam free and kill whatever they want.
Just like how illegals can do basically whatever they want without consequence for the most part in sanctuary cities, the federal judiciary and a non-objecting federal government has basically created an entire class of squatters whom no laws apply to.
Clean up your part of the problem so that those of us in rational cities and counties can reclaim our waterways, our sports fishing, our hunting.

Dr. Carson sounded like a real southern sweetheart. He basically told governor Newsom to FOAD with a “bless your heart.”.
That was a very good read. Placed the blame squarely where it belongs-California’s government. I hate how these libs destroy everything they touch but yet come whining to save them. Throw more money to us and we’ll finally fix it! NO WAY. Glad they got told off diplomatically.
I doubt Gavin will read it though. It would require him to look away from the mirror for a moment. A hair might be out of place on sexy Gavin’s head! Can’t have that!

I'm glad that Dr. Carson's letter mentions illegal aliens, sanctuary cities, and the effect that the invasion of these criminals has on taking up the supply (availability), thus increasing the demand and thus prices. Any idiot should know this, but Mister Newsom is a special idiot.
