Dear NYT you could fold. Show you mean it when you oppose the First Amendment.

WTF is wrong with you? When I posted I put in the following:
“The totalitarian left needs to be stopped. They are anti-American to the core and they reek of the noxious European philosophies that have devastated that continent over and over again over the past 250 years.”

That was my commentary on the left and its desire to destroy our constitution and enslave us. How is that anti free speech?

I think you misunderstood. The “you” was to the NYT. Certainly not to you. It may be I responded to the wrong post. Sometimes I scroll faster than I should. I’ll double check. But please know that in any case I would never make such an assumption on you or any other poster.

According to this guy, we cannot have free speech because it allowed PDJT to be elected. He keeps beating the Charlottesville drum while convenient ignoring James Hodgkinson, Micah Xavier Johnson, and Antifa thug gangs. And yet, he clearly believes that he is qualified to decide whose speech is allowed and whose isn’t. How can people say things like this and still keep a straight face?

Illegal alien, illegal alien, illegal alien. I wish I could post this to their website in the comment section, do you think they would fine me $750,000 for saying the forbidden words three times?

This is a reversion to tribal morality, that anything that violates social norms is a literal threat to the community.

This is the moral reasoning Islam uses to equate blasphemy and open dissent of Shariah mandates with attempted murder of all believers .... and justifies executing them to protect society.

You hear the same emotional foundation when someone says “you’re invalidating our existence” or even “you’re killing us” when you challenge social orthodoxy. They equate the emotional upset with attempted murder - and that would allow them to kill you in self-defense or for their tribe’s protection.

It shows how liberals have raised political dogma to a literal matter of faith.

I think a lot of liberals read dystopian books like “1984” and “Brave New World” and saw how-to manuals. For example, Brave New World says everyone belongs to everyone else, you can’t say no to sex or exclude anyone. Others take Harrison Bergernon as gospel. Handicap the smart and cover the pretty so no one is upset or feels less than.
