More trivia:
There are only 46 “States” in the U.S.A.
Kentucky, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Virginia are “Commonwealths”.

https://thehayride.com/2019/10/the-election-night-blog/

6:30 p.m. – Word is that John Bel Edwards’ camp has internal polling which says he’s going to get 52 percent tonight. No public polls show that other than the one Verne Kennedy has been doing. Our take is that polling simply isn’t reliable because busy people don’t answer the phone for polls, and our theory is that as a result of that phenomenon the polls are greatly undersampling the state’s conservative voters.

Barack Obama robocall gives Gov. John Bel Edwards a last-minute get-out-the-vote boost

By SAM KARLIN | Staff writer Oct 12, 2019 - 6:01 pm

Gov. John Bel Edwards is getting a last-minute boost to his get-out-the-vote efforts from former President Barack Obama, who recorded a robo-call earlier this week where he praises Edwards’ expansion of Medicaid and flood recovery and urges people to vote for him.

The robo-call, paid for by the Democratic State Central Committee of Louisiana, is about a minute long and also features state party chair Karen Carter Peterson, who introduces Obama, according to a recording posted to social media by the campaign of Congressman Ralph Abraham, one of Edwards’ rivals in Saturday’s election.

“John Bel Edwards won last time because too many GOP candidates split the votes and he scooped up the rest.”

Also, because too many Republican endorsed Edwards.

It is over 50%. If the number of votes is even, it is 50% plus 1. If the number of votes is odd, it is 50% plus 1/2.

“Also, the teacher union/government employee/media axis has for years carried out a jihad against business.”

I cannot understand why people think the teacher union is a power in Louisiana.

If it were, it would not have allowed Jindal to wreak havoc with education.

Edwards got elected because Republicans did not vote. In the election for president the following year, Trump got more votes than Vitter and Edwards combined.

Just enough “conservatives” bought Bel Edwards bullsh!t pro-life line to put him over the top, combined with the teacher’s union vote.

Go do some research on La voting that includes the black vote and who they vote for in La elections whom you fail to acknowledge exist. Upon doing this research you will become less ignorant than you now are. Also, check out who the sheriffs of the Parishes endorse for their influence in La elections. That will also reduce your ignorance to some extent, maybe.

The black vote is an integral part of the public employee/teacher union/media axis. They make up a predominant part of those employees.

And I don’t appreciate the personal attack.
