I think Trump may have made a critical mistake with one thing. He fired his powder at Joe too early. Removing him from the race was a tactical mistake. He doesn’t often do that, so I’m strongly suspecting that he didn’t make the mistake, but instead, his hand was forced. I’d be stunned if the long knives didn’t come from the Warren camp. Honestly, we’re seeing too many things from Betty Warren that show she’s incapable of making the run. I figure it’s going to be one of the mid-tier folks that are there right now. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Mayor Pete getting trounced or possibly someone like Tulsi or worse, someone we haven’t seen yet. The info on Betty will come out shortly more readily. Bernie most likely doesn’t make it to the end of the race.
So, what happens if we have a major party nominate someone like Bernie and they drop dead of a heart attack in October of 2020? Do the Democrats get a write-in?
