I am not sure if this was a smart move by Trump no matter how good the facility is.
having the meeting there will have beneficial difficult-to-measure marketing impact for trump.
But I say, go ahead, dude ruffle feathers.
After Trump’s re-election he’ll pay for and build a mega ballroom onto the White House. The left will be apoplectic when that happens.
I never said the White House was large enough to hold such an event. Not even close.

I must agree with your assessment that using any Trump owned facility isn’t the proper thing to do. Why subject yourself and your family to unnecessary scrutiny. Appearances do matter.

I think I once heard Trump mention that it would be good because each country could have its own villa. If it is an excellent accommodation, it seems a shame to discount it just because it’s in a trust (or whatever he had to do.)
