This “GAY” organization has absolutely no legitimacy or standing on Baylor campus, but the way they are being treated by Baylor administration, you’d think they do.
“Conversations” like this are sure precursors to capitulation. Be sure of it. If nothing else, Baylor will grant “GAY” some form of official university recognition. The leadership at this formerly Christian school are total squishes.

Gays: We’re proud of Barack Hussein Obama!
What’s interesting, at Universities the senior faculty have Tenure, meaning they can’t be fired for unpopular opnions. We were always told how important that was to the rigours of intellectual debate in the rareified air of Academe.
Well what happened? These guys are the biggest shit-weasel Squishy-squishes around. What happened to the much-vaunted intellectual independence of the intellectually Tenured? They roll over on anything and everything. They’ll apologize to an arsonist who just burned down their office building. Makes no sense. Bunch of Quacks.
There is a remnant of true Christians in the world, as the Bible predicted would be the case the closer we get to end times and the Loadicean (apostate) period of the “church” (in name only). We Americans tend to forget Christians like those in places like China, who endure real persecution for His name’s sake. The road to Heaven is truly narrow, and the road to hell, broad.
Yes, I do, and I remember how they mocked anyone who brought up the slippery slope. We’re pretty much at the bottom of that slope now, the one they claimed was a figment of our paranoia.

Dr. Henry Cloud explains it well in “Boundaries”. People with unhealthy boundaries and narcissism say love = total agreement with their opinions and demands. If you disagree, you’re mean and don’t like them. Actively oppose or challenge, and it is only because you “hate” them.
Liberals have co opted this for political purposes. Love = liberal ideology, and you’re an evil hater who just wants to hurt kill people if you don’t go along with whatever they demand at the moment.

Seriously, you have a partially valid point, but Baylor is trying to become a national-class university with more than 50% enrollment from OUTSIDE Texas. The temptations for them to compromise are big and threatening.
They need to hold the fort, or they’ll swim the drain hole like so many failed Christian colleges in the past.

The few Christian holdouts were called “haters” in a fictional Bible Prophecy movie (it was VR nonsense but one of the better ones by the LaLonde brothers. I think it was in “Revelation”.)
