Democrats emerging Tuesday from the closed-door testimony of the top diplomat to Ukraine were tight-lipped on details but effusive on a central point: William Taylor, they said, was delivering the most damning testimony yet in the Democrats' impeachment investigation into President Trump.
"Without question the most powerful testimony we've heard," said Rep. Stephen Lynch (D-Mass.), who sits on the Oversight Committee.
"This testimony is a sea change. I think it could accelerate matters," Lynch continued. "This will, I think, answer more questions than it raises."
Lynch described Taylor, the U.S. chargé d'affaires of Ukraine, as a "meticulous" note-taker who had kept detailed records of his involvement in the months-long effort by Trump and some of his closest allies to pressure Ukrainian leaders to find dirt on Trump's political rivals.
"He indicated that he kept extensive notes on all of this," Lynch said.
Rep. Tom Malinowski (D.N.J.), a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, also suggested Taylor's testimony was supportive of the central allegations facing Trump and his dealings with Ukraine.
"I would say it certainly filled in many of the remaining gaps in the narrative," Malinowski said.
"I would say he remembered some things that previous witnesses have not been able to remember."
When will enough be enough? When will the coup plotters be subject to justice? If the DOJ is fatally compromised, it will fall to patriots to convene peoples’ courts and try the plotters for sedition.

IIRC, Yaylor was only in the Trump administration since sometime in June of 2019.

The guy may have been the most meticulous note taker but he had no idea what to write down.

Taylor has only been in the Trump administration since June 2019. Almost like he's a plant. Wonder who recommended him.
No public hearings. No due process. No cross examination of witnesses or documents.
No semblance of fairness or even pretense of following accepted judicial norms.
Its a farce and the country knows it. If the Democrats really had the goods, they’d want it to be transparent and completely above board.

Impossible to impeach Trump without a vote in the House. So the Republicans have given up indicting anyone and Horowitz, Durham, and Huber have decided to delay delay delay until Hell freezes over.
