Deposition on phones given to John Durham
A new question about the mysterious Maltese professor Joseph Mifsud is: What did he say on a taped deposition handed to the team of special Justice Department investigator John Durham?
Mr. Mifsud is a subject on Mr. Durhams agenda. The Washington Times reported that Mr. Durham, the U.S. attorney for Connecticut, obtained two Mifsud BlackBerry cellphones. Stephan Roh, Mr. Mifsuds attorney, told The Times he provided the deposition recording to Mr. Durhams team in midsummer.
Mr. Mifsuds April 2016 conversation with a Trump associate ignited the FBIs long Trump-Russia probe. In May 2018, Mr. Mifsud sat in Mr. Rohs law office in Zurich recounting his time as an academic traveling in Europe, from London to Rome to Paris to Moscow.
Mr. Roh contends that Mr. Mifsud, who has been in hiding for months, was not just a peripatetic professor but also a Western intelligence operative who fed what he knew to retired officials.
The Times could not confirm this. No independent evidence at this point shows Mr. Mifsud played that role. The Times reached out to one person named by Mr. Roh as a Mifsud intelligence contact, but that person didnt respond.
Former FBI Director James B. Comey, with access to counterintelligence files, said flatly that Mr. Mifsud was a Russian agent.
Mr. Roh said the FBI detained and questioned him upon his arrival in the U.S. for vacation. He was never accused of wrongdoing. No Trump associate has been charged in any Russian election conspiracy.

......Joseph Mifsud, the Maltese Diplomat who reportedly told George Papadopoulos that Russia had Hillary’s emails, was a British intelligence asset. But the Brits did not keep Mifsud for themselves. They offered him to the CIA and the FBI, and those two US agencies, in a coordinated effort, relied on Mifsud to entrap Papadopoulos and to manufacture a Russian collusion case against the Trump Campaign......
I’ve wondered if the Justice Department has him (Mifsud) in the witness protection program...or, something like that.
LCILP is the now-defunct London Center of International Law Practice. It was the link that brought Mr. Mifsud together with George Papadopoulos, a Trump campaign adviser and energy consultant. Mr. Roh later wrote, The LCILP was not real. It was rather a cover-up for intelligence agents.
The whole thing stinks. Bigly.
Please pass the popcorn.
Mifsud was not a Russian asset, he was a Western intelligence asset, used by John Brennan for his own private sting on Trump.
They claim a phone interview. Doesn’t pass the smell test.Probably not admissible. Meanwhile, they have given this guys 3 years to disappear. Unless we already have him hidden he is toast.
There fixed the editorial oversight.
Yea, I think this is spot on correct. This is one area of the investigation where several somebodies could get some serious time. Namely Brennan and Clapper.
Its either that or hes already dead
not sure they claimed a phone interview they used the words declaration “deposition on phones” refers to the blackberries he gave up imo.
Didn’t pick up on that. If he was Deposed in person that would be admissible.
If they have Mifsud’s phones, then it appears he is under a warrant or cooperating.
If I were trump, I’d replace the entire intelligence service. These people have too much power, too much independence and need a good culling.
If so, and if he's opened up to Durham/Barr, this is going to be very, very bad for the Deep State.
Between him and others like Baker squealing - game over.
Mifsud is a con artist operating under the facade of fake academic institutions.
I wonder who Misfuds contact is who won’t talk to the Washington Times? If Misfud is a intelligence asset of America it blows the lid off the Deep state’s Russia bullshit. This should start getting very interesting.
I’m wondering if misfud has taken early retirement from his US gummit job(s)
Fibbers & Clowns had all these spooks on their payrolls.
