No, it was not a court ruling. The Supreme court ruled in 2000 that the BSA could exclude homos and leaders. On ITS OWN, the BSA admitted homo scouts first. Then they admitted homo leaders.
Rex Tillerson was a prime mover of the effort.

What about Tillerson and all the other corporate “leaders” of the BSA who, knowing how much damage the sodomites had already done to the organization, voted to open it up to those very individuals? Looks to me like they ought to be sued individually for knowingly adopting such a hideous, self-destructive policy.

Back in the 60’s there was some small fee but it covered the manual and a subscription to “Boys Life” magazine.
And to think these were straights diddling the kids until 2016 when they began having gays join. Look out Boy Scouts in the future. Bankruptcy is their future. I am not sure if any gays have been accused of diddling kids in the last 3 years, but I’m sure some will.
This simply is not true.
