What about Steven Menashi nominated for the 2nd Circuit? He seems to be a great nominee (he clerked for Justice Alito), but I am worried about him. I have read that Susan Collins opposes him. If some other Senate weaklings join her opposition...

Very please with the 8-to-2 Male-to-Female count. Female conservative judges are very rare. Most are fakes or bleeding hearts within a few years. Some men too (Souter, Kennedy). But men are far more reliable.
True, now lets look at the senate's efficiency. According to wikileaks, there are currently 4 vacancies on the U.S. Courts of Appeals, 88 vacancies on the U.S. District Courts, 2 vacancies on the U.S. Court of International Trade, and 17 announced federal judicial vacancies that will occur before the end of Trump's first term (5 for the Courts of Appeals and 12 for District Courts).
The more LIFE federal appointments Trump makes, the freaking better. More GOOD judges is better than ANY commie judges.
