White House aides believed Mike Pence would support using the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump, a new book has claimed.

The bombshell claim - immediately denied by the Vice President's camp - has emerged in a book by an anonymous Trump official entitled 'The Warning'.

The official is the same one who wrote a New York Times op-ed in 2018 claiming to be 'part of the resistance' inside the Trump White House.

In the book, the author claims that White House staff made a 'back-of-the-envelope tally' in 2017 of who would be willing to plot against Trump.

According to HuffPost, they believed that Pence would sign off the procedure and take the acting presidency himself.

Seems like a lawsuit is in order. The publisher and the democraps that no doubt wrote this shouldn’t profit from it.

Glaring headline on Drudge, but the story belies the hype. Pure BS.

LOL. “they believed that Pence would sign off the procedure and take the acting presidency himself.“ Of course they did believe, because this is what they would do in Pence’s position.

I don’t doubt that Washington — even the White House itself — is filled with nitwits who have been contemplating various options related to this silly “25th Amendment” scenario. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence, on the other hand, can read the plain text of the 25th Amendment and see two things: (1) that it is designed for a TEMPORARY removal of a President’s responsibilities in an emergency situation, and (2) it is NOT designed to remove a President AGAINST HIS WILL.

Do these lefties know that they are rewriting the rules and conventions of political discourse in this country? At some point in the future a democrat will be elected president. How will a republican congress treat a democrat president with whom they neither agree nor much like?

But then again, the republicans will likely assume the position of the loyal opposition.

Agitprop. Spread suspicion and distrust among administration staffers. Right out of the commie handbook.

"How will a republican congress treat a democrat president with whom they neither agree nor much like?"

That's easy. We have seen it before, and I believe it is why the Democrats aren't worried about the precedent they are creating and will continue to get crazier. Republicans will never stand up to a Democrat president because they are scared to death of the media, they won't do a damn thing but whine. Oh, sure, there will be a couple who try to fight, but they will be portrayed as wackos by both parties. When it comes to socialist legislation, they will peel away enough votes in the house and senate to give the Democrat president everything he wants while saying they oppose the bill. Every time we call them on it, they will chide us with, "elections have consequences." (unless of course we vote Republican)

Does the Obama-Corker Iran Deal ring any bells? They don’t call the GOP the Doormat Party for nothing.

You are kidding, right? RINOs do as RINOs do, vote for pork, scream about violation of conservative princples, and take their slice of the action.

Coward. If he’s got so much to say, he needs to identify himself. A genius like he, should be able to get a job if revealing himself gets fired.
