Amb Bill Taylor: "Official Foreign Policy Of The United States Was Undercut By (tr) Mr. Giuliani"
RCP Video ^ | 11-13-2019 | Tim Hains

William Taylor, the former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, revealed new information about the president's interest in Ukraine and the "investigations of Biden" in his opening statement Wednesday at the first House impeachment inquiry hearing.

"I am not here to take one side or the other or to advocate for any particular outcome of these proceedings," he said.

"Last Friday, a member of my staff told me of events that occurred on July 26. While Ambassador Volker and I visited the front, this member of my staff accompanied Ambassador Sondland. Ambassador Sondland met with Mr. Yermak," Taylor claimed. "Following that meeting, in the presence of my staff at a restaurant, Ambassador Sondland called President Trump and told him of his meetings in Kyiv. The member of my staff could hear President Trump on the phone, asking Ambassador Sondland about ‘the investigations.’ Ambassador Sondland told President Trump that the Ukrainians were ready to move forward."

"Following the call with President Trump, the member of my staff asked Ambassador Sondland what President Trump thought about Ukraine. Ambassador Sondland responded that President Trump cares more about the investigations of Biden, which Giuliani was pressing for... At the time I gave my deposition on October 22, I was not aware of this information. I am including it here for completeness."

Article ( the complete opening statement) TL;DR, I just paste some of the summary of it.

One of his staff overheard Sondland talking to Trump on the phone and claimed he/she can hear what Trump said. The rest is personal interpretations from Sondland/Taylor's staff/and Bill Taylor himself.

And they've determined the official foreign policy was under by a sitting president.

Can’t the President choose any person to represent him to another country? I don’t recall the Constitutional restriction that ambassadors must be appointed in a certain manner, and approved of by certain people. Henry Kissinger represented many Presidents without an official title.

Here is the opening statement from another of Bug-Eyed Schiff's "star witness" - (link here)

(excerpt)

Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs George Kent delivers his opening statement as a witness in the first public hearing of the House Democrats' impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump regarding Ukraine. Kent said he was alarmed by Rudy Giuliani's involvement with Ukraine and attempts to "gin up politically-motivated investigations." (emphasis mine)

"In mid-August, it became clear to me that Giuliani’s efforts to gin up politically motivated investigations were now infecting U.S. engagement with Ukraine, leveraging President Zelenskyy’s desire for a White House meeting," he said. "I do not believe the United States should ask other countries to engage in selective, politically associated investigations or prosecutions against opponents of those in power, because such selective actions undermine the rule of law, regardless of the country." (end excerpt)

Any bet that this Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs George Kent was alarmed that his own gravy train would be jeopardized by Trump's (in the form of Rudy Giuliani) inquiry?

The President decides what the US foreign policy is. Not any ambassador, or CIA mole, or douchebag journalists. The President is the final say on foreign policy and cannot be credibly accused of undermining himself.

They forget that they do not make “official foreign policy” of the U.S. government, the President does. They are the underlings of the executive, not the boss of the executive.

The idea that Trump cares “more” about the investigations of the Biden’s and Burisma (than anything else) is someone’s personal interpretation, not a fact.

Gee just like what was done by Bill Richardson, Jesse Jackson, and all a whole host the Rats & Rat supporters did who did something similar!

Kent should have filed a complaint tot he DOJ and demanded Giuliani be prosecuted under the Logan Act.

You mean just like horseface Kerry going to Iran and telling them not to listen to Trump?

And Obama going over there and saying the same thing?

Does this a$$hole not realize that Official Foreign Policy is whatever President Trump says it is, not what some moron named Taylor thinks it is? The root of what happened here is that Hunter Biden got $3 Million from Ukraine while his dad was VP. Hunter’s VP dad got a prosecutor investigating his shady deal fired and then bragged about it in public and on tape. Now, President Trump is the one being investigated, not the Bidens. The Rats are corrupt nutcases.
