It didn’t take long at Friday’s impeachment hearing before Rep. Elise Stefanik, the House Intelligence Committee’s only Republican woman, was gaveled down by the panel’s Democratic chairman.
Republicans kept the 35-year-old Harvard graduate from upstate New York in the spotlight all day. Among other things, they gave her a prominent slot to question the day’s witness, former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, even though Stefanik ranks only seventh among the committee’s nine Republicans.
“We know clearly you’re going to interrupt us throughout this hearing,” Stefanik complained within minutes of Friday’s opening gavel.
Though she was breaking committee rules with her interruptions, the outburst gave Republicans a nationally televised opening to accuse Trump nemesis and committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., of treating a woman lawmaker unfairly.
“You are gagging the young lady from New York,” said the panel’s top Republican, California Rep. Devon (sic) Nunes. …

I actually saw some left leaning blogs attacking Schiff for “mansplaining” the rules to her. It was pretty funny.
If Buzzie tips over, she’s probably SCOTUS bound. If she’s tough enough to stand the intense heat. I’ve read a bit and I hope she’s hard as nails. If she is she could be the Iron Lady on the court. I think DJT will pick her unless she declines.

The optics are terrible for Democrats with white suburban women... the voters who gave them their House majority.
Schiff is showing everyone how he treats women he doesn’t agree with. Its going a long way to undermining the credibility and legitimacy of the inquiry the Democrats are running.
To be accepted, any impeachment probe must be seen to be fair and above board. Schiff and the Democrats are showing its a sham.
And in the process, they’re making Trump look good.
But she’s not a lawyer. Has a degree in government.

It’ll take someone with a skin as tough as a rhino and mind as sharp as Antonin Scalia if Amy has the sand hooray for her. Maggie Thatcher was one tough lady, Churchill was one tough hombre, who ever comes next has to have a hardass attitude and I hope fidelity to the Constitution. It will take someone very special. IMO. Kavanah did well but the next person will get worse. Did I mention I miss Scalia huugely. Regards.

F.U.A.P. The Democrat media always have to add “without evidence “ when they talk about this obvious corruption. That is like saying cigarettes are accused of causing lung cancer without evidence.
What’s funny is these are the same people accusing Trump of committing a crime without evidence.
The hypocrisy of these people with their double standards and unfair attacks on our President says it all.
