I believe that should have been “Schiff” claiming a stand down order was never given. The author should have proof read his article.
However, I would think that Schiff had given that statement to Yovanovitch to give if the president’s tweet had been known about earlier but since it supposedly came in DURING the hearing, I guess not. He should have had electrical cords wrapped around his scrawny neck the minute he put it up on the screen. He just can’t get enough attention, can he?
So why on earth did she name the others who were killed as State Department employees at Benghazi? Only Stevens was a State Department employee.
And curiously why are Geist, Paronto and Tiegen so quiet of late? I should think they would be showing up at every opportunity to appear before the public and keep what happened at Benghazi from being a distant memory. They no doubt are busy with getting on with life and I certainly can’t blame them. It wouldn’t surprise me if they don’t even turn on a TV set. Bless Patricia Smith - what a tortured soul to lose her son and to be lied to about his death. Bless her for always speaking out and not letting the $%$*%&# get her down. Schiff is one first class louse.
I don’t remember Schiff making those remarks about the Benghazi hearing but I sure remember the hearing. “What difference - at this point - does it make?” If the members had continued to push that day, they could have sent Hillary running screaming from the hearing room. That’s the day Rand Paul pinned her down on the selling of arms to Turkey from Benghazi and she answered his question WITH A QUESTION. Never a more clear sign of lying!!

Possibly because they did numerous interviews and decided to move on with their lives and families. I saw one where the SEAL who's arm was dangling from only tendons (surgeries made it functional) and the other 2 were asked penetrating questions.
They all agreed the movie, "13 Hours" was point on, except for dramatic license with the dialog, and some sequence of events. The farce of Susan Rice going on 5 Sunday talk shows with a lame excuse about a video was a complete fabrication of Obama, and SOS Clinton epic fail to save our Ambassador and others.
