lmao.
I would NOT be surprised if they came up with that.
Nothing new this morning so far.

Last year, Ginsburg said she expected to be on the bench at least until
the age of 90. Im now 85, Ginsburg said in August, 2018. My senior
colleague, Justice John Paul Stevens, he stepped down when he was 90,
so think I have about at least five more years.

I dont believe there is anything written in the constitution saying a President under impeachment cannot nominate justices to the bench. Question will be whether McConnell, who has pushed through over 150 justices will capitulate to whiny Democrats.
Ruthie, resign. Go home and spend the rest of your time surrounded
by your family. The time has come.
She served her country by sitting on the highest court. Yes, she is a left wing activist judge which defied our impartial legal system as written by the founders. In saying that, it is time for RBG to go home and spend her remaining time on earth with family.
“How can she be safely going home today.”
I guess they were putting on a thin veil of optimism in hopes of us all going away.
Paging Amy Coney Barrett.
On the other hand, installing a new justice before the election makes McConnell look inconsistent WRT Merrick, and that could make undecided voters turn against the GOP (which the media would certainly repeat with a drum beat).
It might be smoother sailing for Trump if she survives until the election is over.
Old liberals have nothing on these Commie rat bastages.
There really is no parallel with the Merrick situation.
That was a GOP senate exercising its prerogative in stalling on confirmation until a candidate they approved of would be presented to them. This would be confirming a candidate they approve of before the opportunity is lost.
What really matters is how voters would see it. Let’s bookmark our posts and, if RGB dies before the election, see what actually happens. Trump is winning at the present moment. RGB dying could shake things up.
It might be smoother sailing if she survives, but if she does pass and it is acknowledged as such AND Trump holds off on a nomination there is not a Dem voter in the country who wouldn’t make it to the polls.
That is the one situation we definitely don’t want.
But hes not under impeachment. Its an inquiry ? Correct?
My mo just passed at 86. My grandmother (her mother) passed at 86. I dont think Ill make it that long tho.
Or Reticularis Marios Cuomos. /Fletch Lives
We can’t have an impeached President picking Supreme Court judges!
Looks like a video spells it differently, LOL
Very possible, as I posted above. But we can't be sure that, if McC confirmed a replacement before the election, there would be no voter blowback either.
Although I definitely would like to replace RGB ASAP, I think it would be safer to do it after she left the court beyond the election. But timing is beyond my control.
For most of us the sight of a rotting corpse is at best unsettling and at worst repulsive and frightening, the stuff of nightmares.
Ill go with the latter.
The now famous attorney over on CTH, Ristvan, he comments as well as to a Helo Flight from a smaller Hospital to John Hopkins. That is a tell right there..
BTTT .....
