Former Mayor Michael Bloomberg is already having an impact in the Democratic primary for the White House just a week after launching his presidential bid, a new survey released Monday reveals.

Bloomberg came out in fifth place, ahead of California Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) in a new Hill-HarrisX national Democratic primary poll.

The survey found that Bloomberg’s support increased from 3 percent to 6 percent among likely Democratic voters and Democratic-leaning independents.

Seriously? What’s? Heels Up is at 4% and Bloomingidiot at 8%. I guess it sells papers in NYC but it don’t mean Schifft in fly over land. They couldn’t find two IQ points between them to rub together to start a camp fire.

That’s worth an LOL.

Let’s see now. A Democrat runs as a Republican and wins the White House, so a Republican decides to run as a Democrat to challenge him and he’s in the top of the race within a week.

Truth is stranger than fiction!

All white at the top of the DEM list. Biden, Warren, Sanders, Bloomberg, Buttplug, with Hillary waiting in the wings. Increases the likelihood of a black female as VP, so chin up, Ms. Harris.

I think the Post is having a cheeky go at Harris with this headline. He’s surging ahead of her by going from 3 to 6%. LOL.

“All white at the top of the DEM list.”

Are you saying that Gray Beaver isn’t a woman of color?

Bloomberg would be bad news with Michelle Obama as (even a temporary) VP.

Harris is a rather low bar for Mini Mike to be surging past.

I think that if I spent 40 million over a week, I could get to 6% too given the field.

Personally I hope as many of these candidates stay viable as possible, it really increases the odds of no single breakout candidate and a contested convention. This is good for our side for several reasons, it means that the eventual nominee will be virtually broke by the time they finally nail down the nomination and it also increases the odds that whatever side loses will sit home or vote 3rd party on election day.

That’s correct, Gloomberg is a lifelong democrat. He ran as a Republican for Mayor in 2001 because the rat primary was a racial minefield and the Republican nomination (and votes in the general) were for sale. He ditched the party label as soon as Bush’s numbers tanked.

The GOP should have nominated reformed ex-democrat Congressman Herman Badillo instead, I believe his conversion was genuine.
