NOW is when WE the people can step in and make a difference....Get in touch with every House rep you can call and let them know what a bad thing this is. Don’t let them step out of a door without being there.

I’m still skeptical that Nan has the votes.

Pelosi already sank the Dems' battleship last Friday with her assertion that 'it is not about Ukraine, it is about Russia.'

Dems can't even get on the same page.

'Obstruction of Congress'? Equal branches. The SC would rule that the Executive Branch has not only rights, but responsibilities, of protecting it from Congressional overreach.

If this is all the Dems have, their case seems very shallow.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kangaroo_court

A kangaroo court is a court that ignores recognized standards of law or justice, and often carries little or no official standing ... The term may also apply to a court held by a legitimate judicial authority which intentionally disregards the court’s legal or ethical obligations. The defendants in such courts are often denied access to legal representation and in some cases, proper defense and the right of appeal.

This idea was sort of previewed by AG Barr’s speech to the Federalist Society a few weeks back. He talked about how the Congress had diminished the power of the Executive Branch. It’s as though they are setting themselves up to be the superior branch of government, even though they are to be co-equals.

I’m all for obstructing Congress. The less mischief they do, the better it is for our Republic.

“touching off a rapid-fire sequence that could result in a momentous floor vote in a matter of days.”

Why the hurry? I can think of a couple of reasons

1. They have to vote for impeachment or the Rabid left wing of the party will meltdown. They pushed Nancy into this and she has no choice but to go forward. To back out now makes them look even more stupid than they already do.

2. They want to get this over quickly so people forget. They know they have no evidence and it’s a sham. The voters usually remember things starting in the summer, so this will be long forgotten by then. They hope!

3. RGB health is in question. If there’s any chance this works, then Trump’s successor they could say is not competent to appoint her replacement. Even if it doesn’t work, they can say Trump is impeached and therefore can’t appoint her replacement.

Lots of grasping at straws here. That works out well for us that straws have been banned where Nancy is from.

“abuse of power and obstruction of Congress”

Neither of which is a crime, so they’ve admitted they couldn’t find one and are just doing a little political theater.

Question for anyone listening please!!

If President Trump is impeached by the House but not removed by the Senate, can he run for office again?

I keep reading conflicting info on twitter.

Thanks in advance.

No high crimes and misdemeanors, no quid pro quo, no bribery. There’s no such thing as a obstruction of congress. #ImpeachDemocrats

The Apple news service transposed “obstruction of Congress” (which many of us would see as a good thing) to “obstruction of justice”. So the news service probably recognized that “obstruction of Congress” won’t float in focus groups. :)

Democrats articles of impeachement;

1. Because we want it.
2. Because we really, really want it.
3. Because we really, really, really want it.
4. No. You don’t understand. It’s because we really, really, really, really (to infinity ) want it.
5. Orange man bad.
