I was gobsmacked by the judges action. I would have thought, given the misconduct, he would have dismissed the case against Flynn. I can only surmise that since Flynn entered a “guilty” plea and gave up his rights to a trial and appeal, the Sullivan was given very little choice.

Absent this, I have no clue why Sullivan came against Powell’s motions the way he did.
