From what little I have read and seen, Hunter is a good looking guy who is seriously messed up. I wonder how much of that stems from the tragedy of his childhood that killed his mother.

Here is the problem. Go watch “The Godfather” again. When money like $83,000 a month is involved all the “right people” have to get “their beak wet”. So Hunter may have gotten $83,000 a month “on paper” what finally made it’s way into Hunter’s pocket (which is lined with flakes off rocks) it was a substantial fraction of that, perhaps, but he never actually got $83,000 a month. The temptation to reduce his liability must be overwhelming.
