As a guard member I’d stay home to protect my family if the state declared against citizens.

>>POTUS: This is President Trump, I just federalized all your National Guard/Reserve Troops in your state and ordered them to arrest you and then go home.

Looks like many Virginia voters acted stupidly and are now reaping their rewards.

We moved to MS from CA earlier this year.
On Halloween a group of Kids comes to the door, aged six to fourteen my guess.
The oldest Kid’s “costume” was Fatigues with an AR-15 slung over his Shoulder. At first I thought it was a Replica, Toy or a BB Gun. I looked closer and it realized it was the real deal.
Made me appreciate living in a Free State. To think that my older Brother was in the Marksmen Club and used to carry his .22 Rifle to Middle School when we lived on Long Island in the late 50’s.
Goodbye Virginia, it was fun while it lasted.

Doxxers within state should assemble and distribute all NECESSARY information on these ANTI-AMERICAN CRIMINALS. I know exactly where my state and federal reprsentatives live. Good people but they never speak out against this. FED Senators on the other had, are SCUM deeply complicit with the CRIMINAL STATE

That’s a miscalculation that could lead to a revolution. It has before.

my immediate reaction as well. Second thought was how could this ignorant Dem spout such nonsense. Long past time to require any candidates for office to pass a televised Civics 101 test...let their shameful failures be recorded and prevent their future candidacy for any Fed, State, or local office down to the lowest of the low...forever.

The Founding Fathers did not repeal the state Constitutions.

So if a state repeals the 2nd in their state that supersedes the 2nd of the Constitution? A state can ban all firearms in direct contradiction to the 2nd?

The National Guard has no legal jurisdiction to enforce state laws. They are a federal force licensed to the states, under control of the President, not governors. Northam can talk tough all he wants, the VA NG is not going to enforce state laws by force in violation of Federal law.
To: DCBryan1
I’d love to hear a statement from Trump -”If you turn NG troops loose on American Citizens, I’ll send in the 82nd Airborne and drag every democrat responsible out of their beds and throw them in Gitmo.”
This sh*t is getting serious.
