How about a military base? That would be awesome and it would also put the dems crouching in corners, chewing on their hair

I’m sorry to say President Trump has been impeached, but he has not been convicted.

Here we go - let’s encourage the president to do just what she suggested in January of this year!! Who would want to wager that she would moan and complain that he wasn’t playing by the rules?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sent President Trump a letter Wednesday morning suggesting he postpone his State of the Union address, or deliver it in writing, because of the government shutdown. Afterward, there was a bit of confusion. Was she actually disinviting him, or simply urging him not to come?

Neither, technically.

Though Pelosi (D-Calif.) invited Trump to give the annual address on Jan. 29, she had not pushed through the legislation necessary to make it happen. It’s not unusual for the speaker to wait until a few days before the speech to file what’s called a “concurrent resolution” that sets the day and time of the traditional speech. The measure must be passed by both chambers.

If Pelosi doesn’t file the resolution, there will be no presidential address before Congress. In her letter, Pelosi suggested that Trump could send his speech in writing to Capitol Hill. She later said he could also deliver it to the American people from the Oval Office.

Is that unconstitutional?

No.

Most of what we have come to associate with the State of the Union is tradition, not law. There is nothing in the Constitution that says the president must be allowed to give a live, in-person update on the country. Rather, there is a constitutional provision stating that the president “shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union.”

Have it in the Mellon Auditorium. It seats 1000, is grand, beautiful and close to the White House and Capital. Invite the Republicans and some pro-life and 2A patriots to fill seats that would have been saved for the Dims.

Just have a massive rally deep in the heart of America and make it known that it will be delivered at that Rally to the People while it’s simultaneously delivered via email to the members of the communist regime.

He could fill the largest arena in the country a few times over. He could have it broadcast to shows at arenas all over the country and he would fill them all.

Exactly. Trump is a great innovator. I’m sure he’ll come up with something new and different.

How about giving it in front of the troops in Afghanistan?

"Prior to Woodrow Wilson, the State of the Union address was a letter written to Congress that was read to the House and the Senate by the clerk of that particular body. It’s not a bad idea to go back to that."

Wilson was president from 1913-1921. Radio broadcasting didn't start until the early 1920s. Television broadcasting began after WWII.

In January President Trump could deliver the SOTU to thr Senate, or on the internet if he wanted to, and send TraitorNancy a copy COD.

As long as Republicans control the Senate, this won’t be happening.

“a President under impeachment can’t do certain functions...like nominate judges or supreme court justices”

Democrats are getting too big for their proverbial britches.

They’d better be careful. Trump could just deliver them a letter after he reads it to 20,000 cheering Americans at one of his rallies.

I hope that b*tch doesn’t invite Trump to the House for State of the Union!

There are plenty of other venues.

Nanzi will prove once again that she’s a PETTY and BITTER old cow. She claims she only has “love in her heart” when in fact she is The Queen of Hate and Nastiness.

The Grim Reaper is knocking on the vile, demonic Botoxian’s door.
The sooner he swings his sickle, the better. Same with Nadless, the Hut and Lil’ aunt Ruthie. Here’s hoping he makes it a three-fer with just one fell swoop of the tool...and soon.

OR he could appear, arrive at the podium and refuse to speak until she was removed....just turn around and walk out!

The President has no power to force her to leave. She is in charge of the HofR, not him. No doubt he remembers her sarcastic applauding in his face at the end of the last State of the Union and may have a surprise or two for her and the House. He can send a letter, as used to be done, which she can refuse to read. Or as some have suggested he could deliver it from the Senate, but it is probably too small.

Or he could go over her head and address the nation. That would deprive the Dems the white outfits, the cameras panning over their dour faces. Let her disinvite him and then he can upstage her—and you know he will.

I’m thinking, a large football stadium that holds over a thousand people.

In January, it would have to be a domed stadium.

Or wait until May and have it at Penn State! Way to win over the great Commonwealth of PA. again!

I hope Trump FINALLY takes the gloves off.

If HilLIARy had been jailed right off the bat the deep state would have gone running.

Jeff Sessions was the worst mistake he made.
