After a U.S. airstrike killed Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran's Quds military force, in Baghdad on Thursday, Iran vowed "crushing revenge" against all responsible. Now, with #NoWarinIran, #TrumpsWar and #WorldWarIII trending on Twitter, users are looking into the draft particularly college students about how the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) could play into their potential future military service

Registration for the draft is the law in order to be eligible for any Federal loans. Suck it up, buttercups.
They needn’t worry. Under this president Pajama Boi’s are safe. .
Obama wanted to populate our military with as many of these Pu$$ies as he possibly could. For the purpose of undermining our military’s world renowned effectiveness in combat.
Looking at the next thread down, clearly leftist college Students want Iranians to kill gay people.
All they need is 10 weeks of boot camp. If they can take it l, put them back in school, if we dont need them. If they dont make it, call in their loan and make their parents support them. I survived the draft. They swim or sink.
Another election and more fearmongering about “drafts” from Democrats.
They pull this same crap in 2004 with MTV interrupting programs with “breaking news” about the impending draft. The ONLY draft legislation in the House and Senate was sponsored entirely by Democrats and they didn’t want to vote for their own bills.
Saturday and Sunday the anti-semites were out in full force on facebook and twitter blaming Israel (aka ‘the Jews’).
In the NYC protest footage I spotted at least on anti-Israel protest poster.
just a reminder, this irrational panic comes to you from the generation that eats Tide Pods.
AOCortez is proud of her mustache.
Ask her if she remembered to register for Selective Service.
There can be no draft in present day USA because the greater portion of what would be brought in with such would be worse than worthless.
#1. It is not fine print
#2. It is a standard question like every other one
#3. It has been there since obama.
The great majority wouldn’t be worthless....they’d be targets. That would allow combat efficient units to close and destroy the enemy.
It has been there since Jimmuh Cahtuh.
The great majority wouldnt be worthless....theyd be targets. That would allow combat efficient units to close and destroy the enemy.
Except it doesn’t work that way.
The military would be stuck with a whole s*** load of people that can’t be disciplined, can’t be trusted, wont do their jobs, look for every opportunity to be disruptive and would as often as not, side with the enemy in a fight.
There is no value to them.
And to those who say “but I was drafted back in ****...”
This. Ain’t. Then.
You. Ain’t. Them.
You weren’t raised up to worship yourself and your own wants as above all else. You weren’t raised on participation trophies. You weren’t raised up in an environment that proclaims loudly and constantly that your feelz are all that matter.
You were not raised up to be a worthless piece of shit.
Not all the nasty civies fit the above but so horribly many of them do.
I think there were just a few years that you don’t have to register.
Registration ended in 1975 under Gerald Ford (may he rest in peace!).
Registration was reinstated in 1980 under Jimmy Carter during the faked “Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan”/Iranian Hostage Crisis and applied only to men born in 1960 or after.
Men born 1957 - 1959 did not have to register.
It was pretty real when Reagan was President.
It was faked.
Afghanistan had been considered an enemy nation as part of the Soviet bloc long before 1979.
PM me for more.
Yeah but only for men.
Women makemup the majority of college students and student loan borrowers.
Something like 75% of them can’t pass the physical anyway so why all the worry?
