The Left wants war, ground war, boots on the ground fighting. POTUS is not going there. He doesn’t need to... So now WAPO and their Bezo’s controllers are stumped. They want to foment a ground war so that Trump is neutralized against their Deep State because it forces him into an unwanted alliance with their interests.

That woman is Masih Alinejad, who the article was about. I don't know which political persuasion she is. But she apparently does not suffer from TDS as she met with Mike Pompeo for over a half hour, and he praised her. 8>)

My parents were lifelong Republicans. I was pretty much ambivalent politically until Reagan. He was the first president I decided to cast my vote for, and have voted for republicans ever since, though none really excited me until Donald Trump ran. At first I laughed when he announced, because I thought it was a joke candidate. But the more I listened to him the more I decided he was another Reagan, though not as polished. But I was fed up with polished that promised stuff and then capitulated to Democrats at every turn (think both Bushes). For both McCain & Romney I held my nose and voted for them, because I did not want Obama in there. The Bushes & Clinton were bad, but I knew this guy would be quite damaging to this nation. I used my old saying with friends that were unimpressed with candidate Trump, do you want a woman with good taste or a woman that tastes good, and you can't have both. They too started listening more seriously to what candidate Trump was saying. None have any regrets that they voted for him, and most say best President ever. 8>)

True. I’ve seen some here actually believe the MSM videos. We need to be as wary of their propaganda as we were of the old USSR pictures. Things are not rosy over there. The people are sick and tired of being isolated from the modern world and struggling to pay bills, get gas, get groceries. National feeling will always take a back seat to these things when it’s your government that is the source of the problems.

Anyone on twitter can check out #ThxPOTUS4Soleimani and #FREEIRAN and see clearly the pictures and homemade videos of people in Iran celebrating, making cakes with “Thanks, President Trump” on them in Farsi, and dancing in their homes. The crowds supposedly “mourning” have been bought: with promises of prison release, money, whatever. Watch those crowds in videos. They are low-energy, and most look bored. Astro-turfing, folks. It’s not reality.
