not many commit mass murder on the scale Saddam did though- Yes I’m aware China and other places do as well- however, as mentioned above- We help out where we can, You may disagree, but As the world’s super power- we do have a moral responsibility to use that power to help where possible- To have sat back and allowed hitler to spread his hate worldwide would have been unconscionable, to have allowed Saddam, soemoen we could take on strategically without plunging us into massive war, like would have happened had we tried with China, would have been unconscionable as well- Again- He was insane, brutal madman- violating sanctions, violating the UN- shooting at our planes in areas he wasn’t supposed to- etc- So, while Iraq may have another tyrant running the show there- he’s not nearly as horrendous as Saddam was in terms of mass genocide- Do we just ignore the screams for help? Iraqi’s who were fortunate enough to escape Iraq were begging us in congress to help- citing one horror story after another- Do we tell them “Shaddap, we don’t care’? We’ve helped out all over the world, where we could, strategically-

The bible talks about this age being moderated by ‘The Restrainer’ - what htis means is that Yes, there is still Evil that is going to happen in this world, BUT, the Holy Restrainer- (The moral power agents that God builds, like the US, Like The Church, like individual believers) is here to help reign in the Evil so that there isn’t full blown evil run rampant without anyone to stop it- You don’t want to live i na world like that- it’s gonna be hell on earth when that happens, and one day it will happen- when the restrainer- the church- is taken to heaven- those that remain will be living i n a world where evil is unrestrained- unhampered- unleashed- but until then- the restrainers, have an obligation to try to stem the rivers of Evil wherever it can-
