Please join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for President Trump, Vice-President Pence, and for America: Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media.

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (I John 5:14)

neither His ear heavy, that It cannot hear.
Isaiah 59:1

Holy Lord,

Father, the words of Isaiah give us hope for our nation and for our lives at a time when there is much division and internal chaos in America. We acknowledge that we are a nation that is somewhat broken for we have moved far from You. Through our sins and our unwillingness to acknowledge You as Lord of our lives, we have allowed satan to steal, kill, deceive, and destroy in this nation. But gracious, Lord, we find comfort in the words of the prophet who assures us that Your hand is not shortened that it cannot save, neither is Your ear heavy that it cannot hear. We acknowledge, Lord, that the nation that confesses its sins and seeks You can still receive the blessed inheritance of all that Christ died to provide for us. Father, as prayer warriors, speaking on behalf of our nation, we pray for Your forgiveness and for Your help in guiding us back to the Cross. We cannot do this without You, Father, but with You we have the confidence of Your help.

We pray for righteousness to be established once again in our government. We seek leaders whose hearts belong to You. And we pray that You would continue to uphold our President with Your righteous right hand. Thank You for being his strength and for giving him joy even in the midst of the amazing pressures of his job. Thank You for defending him, Lord, from those who hate him in this nation and abroad. We confess that as we ask You for wisdom for him, we are confident that You will freely give it. Show him how to deal with every situation and please assure him that You are the God who avenges him.

Grant safety and protection to our military men and women, Lord. We plead for their lives as they endure great dangers on foreign soil. And we pray for their minds to be renewed as they return to our nation. So many have lost their will to live because of the lies the devil has inflicted upon them. Help them, Lord, through Your people and the truth of Your Word, to have new purposes and goals in their lives as they return home.

No other answer will provide us with the healing that You, Lord, will give. Not only do You heal bodies and minds that are broken, but You also heal nations that have been severely injured. We come to You, Lord, seeking Your healing for America. We are confident that You have provided it for us, and by faith we reach out and take what has been given to us. Help us to dwell under the shadow of Your wings and to continue to support Israel. We bless You, Mighty God, for You alone are worthy of our adoration and praise. In Jesus’ Holy Name, Amen.

PRAYER FOR LEADERS

Lord, we pray that leaders who govern unjustly will make many mistakes in decisions, especially involving world evangelism (Psalm 109:29);

leaders who despise You will fall from power through improper advice (Psalm 5:10, 19:14);

leaders who are truly searching for understanding will find knowledge and wisdom in Your word (Proverbs 28:2).

Let the leaders who live in darkness receive a personal message of Your love (Psalm 52:15);

leaders who live in war-torn nations will grow weary of continual bloodshed (I Kings 5:3-4);

leaders who lead corrupt governments will recognize their evil ways and turn to You (II Chron 33:12-13);

leaders who boast of power will realize that their earthly kingdom was given to them by You (Daniel 2:19-22).
