Carter Page Says FBI’s SpyGate Is ‘ Just The Tip Of The Iceberg’ Hints At Future Legal Action

Was President Donald Trump’s short term campaign foreign policy volunteer Carter Page set up by an FBI informant or the informant’s handler at the FBI?

On the The Sara Carter Show, Page discussed the recent revelations in Department of Justice’s Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report and his interview in The Federalist where questions surfaced regarding his first meeting with Stefan Halper, one of the FBI’s spies in the Trump campaign.

Questions Linger

Questions still loom regarding Halper’s and his FBI handler. It appears that Horowitz’s report raises more answers than questions, said Page, who was not given the opportunity to review the report or discuss his circumstances with Horowitz. Page, who was an officer in the Navy and graduate from Annapolis Naval Academy, assisted intelligence and law enforcement, said all he ever wanted to was “to help his country.”

Unfortunately, Page became the target of some of very corrupted officials within the agencies he had assisted in the past. They did this to target President Donald Trump.

Based on information Page revealed to both The Federalist and The Sara Carter Show it appears that either Halper, or his FBI handler, didn’t tell the truth to Horowitz’s investigators about the circumstances surrounding Halper’s first meeting with Page.

Page told this reporter that the origination of his meeting with Halper must be investigated by Attorney General William Barr’s appointed prosecutor John Durham. Page would not tell this reporter whether or not he’s already been interviewed by Durham but said he has always stressed that he would “cooperate fully” with any investigation.

“The FBI and CIA definitely made some very serious very egregious mistakes, but, you know one of the primary drivers of this was the Democratic National Committee and their operatives,”

Nothing will happen to any of these people.

Nothing.

Ever.

HRC is STILL running DOJ.

In 1997 she swiped 900 FBI files on everybody in DC.She updated those from 2009-2013.

Everybody’s dirt in DC collectively outweighs ALL her and Bills baggage

That stood out for me too. “Raising more answers than questions” actually could be a very clever point, given that Horowitz failed to address many questions crucial to determining what happened. Or the product of an addled mind.

Some Trump hating Obama lackey just got named to investigate the FISA corruption. The fix seems to be in. The swamp is resisting being drained.

Carter Page, the CIA naval intelligence guy. Carefully reported it to trump every time he so much as had Russian dressing on his salad. Testified to Congress that he made sure Trump knew. The only guy interviewed by Mueller who didn’t get charged. He was sent over from the CIA for the FBI to use for their FISA scam. By getting a warrant for him, they could spy on probably 10 or 20,000 people anywhere close to trump. After Trump lost, we would’ve never heard the name Carter Page.

He’s a damn POS traitor Who landed on his feet. Every time he’s interviewed about it, he gets that damn smirk

I really wonder who these behemoth agencies actually work for and who is it who’d really calling the shots.

Every time I read about these agencies, I think of what Schumer said, which was essentially, “You take on the intelligence community and they have six ways from Sunday to screw you over and ruin your life”.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only on here on FR who doesn't buy the "company line" about this guy. Even with just the information presented in public documents like the IG report, Carter Page may be the first person in history who could file a civil suit against the U.S. government and credibly claim $1 trillion in punitive damages. That's how egregious the FBI's conduct was.

But he's done nothing except get on TV and make these stupid statements about how egregious the FBI's conduct was, and say he's "considering legal action." Bullsh!t. I'll believe it when I see it, dude.

Why is the GOP allowing this?

I base my opinion on the weight of the evidence right in front of my face. And as of yet I see nothing to the contrary.

I hear a lot of bagpipe music, but that’s a poor substitute for indictments.

Don’t you agree?

My deep hope is that after January 20, 2021 many indictments fly.

It’s been so frustrating for three years now. Trying to be hopeful. Difficult.

My money says page is paid off and told to shut up or else or the arrogant FBI/DOJ/CIA/NSA just eliminates him. Why should they worry nothing illegal they have done so far, up to outright treason has resulted in a damn thing.

No, sorry I consider myself a realist and speculating on precisely how something will turn out that I can’t possibly know with certainty is something I avoid.

There are criminal inquiries happening, this I know. It is possible that nothing will come of it but something very well may. Time only will tell.

Until that time I’ll remain somewhat skeptical while still maintaining a an attitude of guarded hope.

Lurker seems to have the proper response given the performance of Sessions, Barr, and Wray.

Not one person in charge has a set of balls.

Believe me I take no joy in my position. And if the situation changes and charges are laid I’ll stand up and cheer until I’m hoarse.

But right now I don’t see that happening.
