He not only has the presumption of innocence on his side - he has the FACT of his innocence - not to mention the fact that what they are charging him with is not even a crime or misdemeanor.
He is being charged with obstruction of congress (which is not a thing, legally speaking) and abuse of power (which is not a thing, legally speaking), and both charges are false and unproven to boot.
There couldn’t be a weaker case.

This is pretty much a nothing burger, because during an impeachment trial the Senate is for all practical purposes restricted to that trial, and does not conduct any other business (such as voting on judicial nominees). So, what Chlamydia Harris is saying is meaningless.
