So at least 110 known possible carriers running around spreading the infection.

Glad I pay taxes.

If it’s any consolation, the reason it can spread so quickly is because it is usually not fatal. Viruses that are extremely deadly can’t go as far. It takes ambulatory sickies to be out and about in contact with others. Also, 106 deaths, although sad, is not the makings of a black death.

Is the CDC playing ‘God - the ADULT in the room’ BS?

Come on CDC, we’d like to know the states with infected people - AND the cities. We promise not to jump up and down in panic... and we resent the crap out of bureaucrats who treat us like children. YOU can handle the truth AND so can we.

"The disease, which has killed at least 81 people in China and sickened more than 2,800 worldwide, isn’t spreading within the community in the U.S. and the risk to the public right now is still considered low, Dr. Nancy Messonnier, the director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, told reporters on a conference call Monday.

“We understand that many people in the United States are worried about this virus and how it will affect Americans,” Messonnier said. “Every day we learn more, every day we assess to see if our guidance or our response can be improved.”

Messonnier continued, 'We're going to wait in the US until a non-Chinese person has passed it to another non-Chinese person, and then we'll make a big deal out of it.'

Bank on it.

This virus spreads fast. The question is how deadly will it prove to be.

The WHO.

The medical equivalent of doctors wearing blue UN helmets.

CDC needs to be reigned in and protect the citizenry that funds them to exist.

There is a ship in Humboldt Bay taking on wood chips for China and the longshoremen balked at working on her. Not sure what transpired but it is being loaded...

Coronavirus? Does this mean you have to stop drinking Corona Beer? If so, the drunk rate among my area Hispanics will drop to near zero. They don’t buy it by the bottle, but by the carton, wheelbarrow or truckload.

My daughter and her unborn baby would have been killed by a drunk illegal Mexican if they had been in their parked car when he ploughed into it, pushing the engine block through the firewall which drove the steering wheel into the driver’s seat (thus killing my daughter/baby if they had been there).

The guy never showed up for court and probably fled the country.
