The day after Halloween, in the 70s, I was scheduled for a business meeting in Market Plaza in San Francisco. When I checked into my nearby hotel, I asked the clerk what was going on. Not sure what their target audience is. If the NFL continues down the primrose path, earnings may suffer.

There was a commercial the other day for a drug that keeps HIV in check so that people afflicted can still have unprotected sex. I’m a pretty astute student of commercials.... like to check the demographics that are being projected, and catch all of the racial and sexual make-up of those portrayed in ads. The AIDS drug portrayed predominately blacks, with a homo kiss thrown in. They might get away with that level of wokeness for a drug, but middle America is still taking notes, and silent boycotts may result. I’ve got no problem letting the market resolve these things.
