Beach chairs, blankets and trash. Massive mess left after Trump's Wildwood rally.

The thousands of people who descended upon the Jersey Shore town for President Donald Trump's 'Keep America Great' rally at the Wildwoods Convention Center left behind a sea of trash in the parking lot — including their abandoned beach chairs and blankets — after the rally wrapped up.

Rally-goers were allowed to bring chairs as they waited in line — some for up to 48 hours before the event — but they weren't allowed to bring them inside the venue.

Factor in the blankets they used to stay warm, and all their drinks and food they were snacking on during the long wait in the parking lot and the convention center ends up with a parking lot full of trash to deal with Wednesday morning.

Are Trump supporters White-trash pigs? you decide. Shame on them. This looks as bad as LA and Sacramento!

The anti-vaccine protesters cleaned up after their rallies and the

Pro-gun people in Virginia (click for Pictures) cleaned up and after the March for Life, no mess, and after the Glenn Beck rally years ago. But not here in Jersey.

Now you know why people in South Jersey don't like the BENNY's

According to reports, 25% of the crowd or so were democrats and they are total slobs. They have seen the light, but their integration into to proper society and the conduct required will take some time to accomplish.

If in NJ there is a history strong enough argument to be made that fewer actual Republicans attended than the numbers ok f CONVERTS. It will take a while to get the new Trumpers up to speed....

THAT IS NOT A TYPICAL RALLY.

Some ringers sneaked in. We don’t do that.

Were there trash cans and dumpsters available? I find it hard to believe they left this mess intentionally when the other rally sites have been so clean.

Sadly, this happens at many Trump rallies because there’s no way the attendees can either take their gear into the venues or store it. The Trump advance teams need to work on this problem to avoid such messes.

NJ.com probably gave more publicity to the chairs, trash and blankets left behind than they did to the rally.

They "fact checked" Trump's claim that tens of thousands were outside. In fact, they themselves found more than 10 thousand by the two jumbotrons. In addition, Wildwood had the unusual circumstance of sports bars, etc. that showed the rally on inside TV screens and were warm places from which to watch. How many who didn't get inside watched in businesses that usually have very few customers in January?

Trump does need to have enough port-a-pots and find a way to dispose of the trash as people enter the rally. These pictures won't help the cause.

I’ve never been to a rally, I assume for security reasons they can’t have dumpsters out there, so did no one empty the trash in the whole day or however long people were in line? Is it an attendee problem or a logistical problem?
So what normally happens at a rally if people can’t take in their folding chairs, etc, surely they don’t just discard all their camping gear.
It looks disappointing, but I don’t know what a normal post-rally looks like.

Where were they supposed to put the chairs, sleeping bags, and other things they brought, when they learned they were not allowed to bring them inside? I don’t see any preparation for even reasonably large disposal bins. Tiny trash cans were totally inadequate for an expected crowd that size. Who was in charge of planning?

I have been to a number of large political demonstrations, and I can say with no hesitation that this is unusual.

I met up with the DC Chapter of FR maybe a dozen to two dozen times, most for Walter Reed Freeps, but some big ones like the Gathering of Eagles I and II, and the March on Washington. Those are largely conservative gatherings with a minority of Leftists.

I have also been to quite a few demonstrations where conservatives were the considerable minority, and the filthy pigs of Leftists left everything from baby diapers to partially empty lunch boxes strewn everywhere. We were at that big rotary going into Arlington National Cemetery where the bridge comes over near the Lincoln Memorial, and the Leftists all came across the bridge towards Arlington en mass. When the demonstration was over, the amount of trash and refuse was astonishing as we looked back over the bridge. Made me think of what a field of crops would look like after locusts came through.

But uniformly, in both cases from the conservative side, the conservatives not only cleaned up after themselves on an individual basis (people stacked their discarded signs neatly near trash bins and such) we also made an effort to tidy up large areas. At one, we were in disparate conservative groups where one group unknown to others began to clear a large area, doing a coordinated walk-down and policing the area, and other groups came over and stepped in without even being asked. I think that was at the Gathering of Eagles, and there were a lot of ex-military there so I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised.

This is disheartening to me. Honestly, it was an aspect of these political things that made me proud and made an easy object lesson between Leftists and Conservatives.

It is a bit disappointing if true.

"Easily explained, they say there was a large # of democrats to see Trump there."

Exactly! According to Trump's campaign manager - 26.3% were Rats and 10.4% didn't vote last presidential election (presumably unaffiliated). Repubs can get up early to get seats. So we can assume the 36.7% of non-rebubs can make a big mess.
