There is actually a really good article right now on drudge of what happens in a 50 50 tie. Good read. Basically rule is tie means fail unless the chief justicedecides to vote yes. Happened in the trial of andrew jackson.then a senator could object to roberts voting and take a senate vote on whether roberts could vote. In the jackson trial the senate tied on two votes on how to break the tie. Then the chief justice gave up and decided not to vote. Short story tie wins for trump.

Standard formula for summary judgment. Viewing the evidence in the light most favorable to the prosecution, there is still no basis for impeachment. They fail to make out a prima facia case, so the case is without triable issues of fact. So no trial. Dismissed. Move on to the next fake scandal.
