Sen. Alexander Has an Interesting Take on Acquitting President Trump

According to Alexander, the House impeachment team proved President Donald Trump withheld more than $300 million in military aid to Ukraine as a means of forcing Ukrainian officials to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, for corruption. Alexander believes Trump’s actions were “inappropriate,” but they certainly aren’t impeachable, USA Today reported.
“I think it was a mistake ... I think he shouldn’t have done it,” Alexander explained. “abuse of power is such a vague term. It doesn’t mean anything.”
Even though Alexander said the House Democrats proved that correlation between the investigation and the military aid being withheld, he believes President Trump deserves to be acquitted. He took an issue with the articles of impeachment that came from the House simply because it was a partisan effort, something that draws a stark contrast to the impeachments of Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton.
If he withheld the money that means Ukraine didn’t get it
If there was quid pro Joe that means Biden was investigated

There is not need for a defense, because there is nothing to defend. The only thing Trump did wrong is that he did not go after the criminal, Joe Biden, hard enough.
Anyone who retreats to that line is a self-serving POS. Trump committed no offense. Interesting the libs never answer the question, “Does Biden’s status as a presidential candidate immunize him from scrutiny?”

Stating that Trump did something wrong is opinion, not fact.
Frankly, everything he’s accused of that there is proof he actually did (e.g. the phone call) I think was absolutely proper.

The opinion of the Grey Whore, coupled with a belch from a spineless senator, does not establish “the Republican position.” When the public holds their federal representatives responsible for their actions, those actions will reflect their consituents’ will. As it stands most of them pursue their own interests regardless of its impact on their constituents or the nation. Nothing material will change until that changes.
