None of them is really any closer to the TRUTH than the other.

Really?

By what Standard to you test them all against?

If God wanted there to be only one path, only one way to understand him and praise him, he never would have destroyed the Tower of Babel.

Oh?

How do you KNOW this 'fact'?

Either all religions are exactly and precisely correct, or none of them are.

Logic 101 does NOT teach this.

But I can agree with … a particular religion can seem to be perfect to the person who practices it and has faith in it’s beliefs.

(Elsie is NOT Lds/Mormon; he merely has insights into it)

EVERYTHING I know about MormonISM can be found on the web.

I have an older version of the BoM; gotten from a motel nightstand in Utah in 1963; and a newer one that was placed on a window sill HERE; before there was a protective fence around it.

The old townsite of Giles is found 1/2 mile south; just across the Fremont river.

No Elsie does not have insights into them....he merely celebrates and loves FAKE NEWS about them!!!

...the presidential campaign of Mormon Church founder Joseph Smith in 1844: “Challenging Democrat James Polk and Whig Henry Clay, Smith prophesied that if the U.S. Congress did not accede to his demands that ‘they shall be broken up as a government and God shall damn them.’

Smith viewed capturing the presidency as part of the mission of the church.

Grease Spot Prophecy – Mormon Quotes

Millennial Star, Vol. 22, No. 29, (July 21, 1860), pg. 455; I prophesied by virtue of the holy Priesthood vested in me, and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, that, if Congress will not hear our petition and grant us protection, they shall be broken up as a government and God shall damn them, and there shall be nothing left of them – not even a grease spot!“.

I eat at McDonald's and shop at Walmart, too; and I don't care who knows it.

Great work by the way with the lowcarb ping list.

My wife went on this and has lost about 45 # in the last 6 months!

Mittens doesn’t get to hide behind mormons. He’s a coward for trying to do that.

Wow, thanks. I’ve been holding back on the low-carb stuff due to Coronavirus. The one exception that I make in telling people to stay off carbs is when ‘it’ happens, and Coronavirus is getting close. For people who want to be prepared without going broke, just stock up on rice (something like 40 cents per pound in large bags). One 50 lb. bag will feed 3 adults for a month, at 2000 calories a day...but obviously not healthy if that’s all that one eats.

I think on the political stuff, we do want the same outcome...I just like to remind everyone out there that nothing good happens by sitting out November elections, even if the reasons are somewhat valid!
