Except we’re talking Dims here that elected a community organizer just because he was black. So why not a gay guy for the same logic?

For most Democrats identity politics is the driving voting reason. It was Obama’s color more than anything else, and mayor Pete’s homosexuality trumps his lack of experience. His homosexuality is in fact his primary job qualification as a Democrat.
