I now realize that JFK was so moved by the NYT burning monk photo that he was backing off on Vietnam.
He had fired Dulles as head of the CIA for many reasons including the Bay of Pigs fiasco,and was questioning many of their missions.
JFK was assassinated 20 days after Diem’s assassination in November 1963. They brought Dulles back to be on the Warren Commission coverup.
Johnson then faked the Gulf of Tonkin incident to beat Goldwater in the 64 election which Johnson escalated into the Vietnam War.
I blame Johnson and Dulles, another Deep State coup.
Nixon was CIA as was Kissinger who as an Army Intelligence Officer who worked with the CIA and Dulles in Germany rounding up German scientists after WWII.
