Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who shocked the political world in 2018 when she upset former Democratic Caucus Chairman Joseph Crowley, has inspired six candidates who are looking to follow her example and defeat longtime House Democrats.
The effort again put Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, New York Democrat, at odds with party leaders.
The leaderships campaign arm, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, moved to put the kibosh on insurgent candidacies last year by blacklisting vendors that do business with primary challengers.
Well, 70% of Americans live in a safe seat. They live in a safe Democratic seat or they live in a safe Republican seat, and a primary election is often a communitys only chance at democracy, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez told The Washington Times. I believe that in primary elections, especially in safe seats, that democracy should exist.

A 26 year old Lawyer? Who in their right mind would hire a 26 year old lawyer to do anything but wait tables or take the fall for some screw up a junior partner did.
Would I be correct in assuming, they are all radical communists?
That’s how we got rid of the weasel Eric Cantor and stopped the Rubio Gang’s amnesty in 2014.
That gave us the breathing room to elect Trump.
Here’s the dirty little secret about law firms: people hire some 60-something attorney, who ends up doing very little of the work, turning the grunt work over to 26 year old attorneys.
When I was a 26 year old attorney, I billed something like 2,700 hours per year. Most weeks I worked 60+ hours. I really learned the business in those years. And I loved every moment of it.
