Back in the days of slavery, Southern Democrats and communists both referred to free labor as “wage slaves.” So what has changed? Clyburn is a Southern Democrat and a communist.
It is time we Republicans make it clear: Democrats offer a life of welfare dependency, along with dysfunctional families, dysfunctional communities and dysfunctional schools; drugs and crime.
Republicans aren’t even trying to compete with that agenda. What do we offer? Promotion of marriage, lives of work and self-responsibility, a vibrant economy, honor to those who keep us safe from criminals, foreign invaders and disease, and schools that are focused on actually getting and keeping a job.
