I think the quoted lines come from an early study/strain and do seem at odds with the present strain, i guess because it has mutated once again so everything changes - which is not good news for any putative vaccine 1-1.5 years from now

You cannot isolate people on an airplane. Especially if the virus is air borne. You would need an airplane designed and built specially for level 4 protocols.
