Do not let the dim prospects for the Democrats in 2020 allow anybody to think, even for a microsecond, that the prospects for the Republican resurgence in the House, expanding the Senate majority and retaining the White House are therefore proportionately brightened.

Keep in mind that the Republicans in EVERY race, no matter how competitive it may seem to be, should start off by thinking, “Wow, we are 10 points BEHIND! What must we do to catch up?”

There is no coast to victory anywhere, as the forces of fraud, deceit, open calumny and opposition from most of the media out there are all arrayed against a positive outcome for Republican prospects.

They want you dead, in exile, or in prison. They do NOT want you in power.

Yep Our President follows the same model. If you remember at the State of the Union message after AOC and the squad won, he stated that we will not be socialist country and the cameras went to Bernie who turned red with anger. This was the start of the divide and unite. It brought the angry out of the RATs that all of America can now see. But remember we must keep voting and get out there and vote in November!

Agree to a large extent. The House GOP campaign committee needs to insure we have great conservative likeable candidates running and they should be out campaigning as we speak and need to be well funded. The problem is that in states like New York where there are at least 2 of the 31 we lost in 2016, NYS has a dead GOP committee statewide and locally.

You are absolutely right.

And Senate and House majorities--along with the Presidency--are vital to the survival of the USA.

Thank you! And well said!

What do you expect when the entire field is almost the same as Bernie Sanders? 🙄

The higher the flames rise in the Democrat house, the more I like it!

Joe is a walking train wreck. So what is the next move once they stop Bernie?

If by some miracle Slow Joe wins the general.

25 th amendment will be utilized...

Dems have been chomping at the bit to use it on Trump, they will have a chance now.

Pay close attention who is Biden VP pick.

“ traditional party liberals like Matt Bennett, who worked as Deputy Assistant to the President for Intergovernmental Affairs for President Clinton, say, “It’s this incredible sense that we’re hurtling to the abyss. I also think we could lose the House. And if we do, there would be absolutely no way to stop [Trump]. Today is the most depressed I’ve ever been in politics.””

That’s a real shame, Matt. But that’s what happens when the members of your party are weirder than a Star Wars bar scene.

Embrace the panic.

There has never been any chance for Democrats to win 2020.

Total Economic meltdown, or some other black swan event of that magnitude were the only external events that might given them a chance.

The only other chance they have is if Trump would somehow be viewed by his supporters as no longer putting America First.... by him doing something that makes them believe that... and that’s not going to happen.

Doesn’t matter who the Dem nominee eventually is... they have a high water mark of around 10 states and DC this fall... and looking more and more like they may not even get close to that.
